Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
